I just came home from an 8 day stay to update my medication. It was a very humbling experience for me. I'm 57 and I have never had to ask to use a bathroom in my entire life! However, the staff for the most part was kind and compassionate! Nurses were EXCELLENT!! Dr. Albassem was fantastic (I highly recommend using him if you have a choice)!!! FOOD- Breakfast was the worst meal of the day only because it was the same thing everyday! Scrambled eggs and tater tots. Lunch and Dinner was prepared by a chef who knew what he was doing!!! Food was excellent!!!
Most likely I would never do this again, but I am glad I did it this time!!!
Hello i was at this Hospital back in October and stayed for 2 months but hands down best hospital i been to. The food is actually pretty good, staff are amazing also i was at the unit woodview i love that unit so much the staff helped me so much! But then my second time was the WORST i have gotten restrained multiple times obviously it was my fault but it was traumatizing i had so many breakdowns and if u wondering what unit i was in that time it was southgate! But still this hospital is good and has more freedom and they actually seem like they care but it really depends what unit you go too i highly wish you the best if you go to woodview! 🫶🏼 best caring people i met in my life
This is actually coming from a parent of this hospital not a teen who attended. Even though the staff is young they are professional and they do actually help these teens it's actually always being cleaned. They always have a maintenance person and custodian working. My kids psychiatrist always gave us good updates on what's going on and also recommend Which medications are good and which medications are bad for her well being. Meaning which medications would Not make her feel like a zombie. All in all the spaces OK it's not a 5 star rating but it is OK it's not terrible like all the teens are saying.
