  My family went through a series of traumatic events and one of my children needed Christ-centered counseling. Foundations was an answered prayer as it just opened a location in Barnegat, NJ. Carol Ann Sheppard has been great. She is kind, caring and I've seen my child grow after each session. Foundations and Carol Ann have answered all my questions along the way and the communication has been great. I receive email reminders for the appointments and Carol Ann is always following up. Most importantly, you feel God's love shining through this organization. Jesus is the answer and He is the focus of the counseling sessions. Thank you Foundations Counseling and I pray for continued success. For His Glory ✝️☝🏻

  The counseling I’ve received through Foundations has changed my life. When we started, I was going through one of the most difficult times of my life. It was causing me to struggle with anxiety, depression, and fear.
  
  My counselor has been such a blessing to me. She's helped me to learn to trust God more, to go through the process of forgiveness, to see myself through God’s eyes and to renew my mind with the truth of the Bible. God has used counseling to bring so much healing and to teach me more about His character.
  
  My life is very different now because of counseling. I’m so thankful for how God has used Foundations Christian Counseling to help me.

  I am a person growing up in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. My faith is deep. But when life hits you, it is good to know you have a brother/sister in Christ to guide you through sometimes impossible times. I have been going a while, and they saved me from utter despair with God's help. I was affected by life trials to the point my health was suffering. She counseled me, prayed for me, and gave me books to read to correct my thinking. God used her to bring me back to where I am supposed to be. I am very thankful God provided such a stronghold in the midst of my storm and helped me through. I can't say enough about them. If you want to seek God's faith and how he wants you to live, go see them. You won't be sorry.
