  It was such a pleasure to work with Lauren and she helped me get through some very low points in our feeding journey. I truly cannot recommend her enough - she is the best of the best! She is knowledgeable about so many things beyond just lactation and helped me understand my baby’s cues and behavior so much better. It also brought me so much joy to see her so lovingly interact with my daughter.

  Lauren Akers has been a tremendous help and resource to my husband and I with our first child. I don’t know what we would have done without access to her knowledge- from lactation to sleep and everything in between…as well as referrals to wonderful specialists. Initially she did home visits until I felt comfortable leaving the house with my newborn to go to the office. She met with me before giving birth as well to review breast feeding, pumping etc. I was lost on all that and felt so much better going into feeding with her by our side. She is our go to for everything baby and we will definitely be using her for baby #2! Lauren and her service is 5 star all the way.

  I don’t think I would have been successful at breastfeeding if it hadn’t been for Susan. Her guidance was so crucial during those first few difficult weeks. At the end of every visit I felt less stressed, more confident in my own maternal instincts, and able to enjoy those precious newborn moments knowing that I had the breastfeeding support I needed. Now my son is almost 11 months, we’re still breastfeeding, and he is thriving!

  I visited Lauren at Forrester Lactation and had an amazing experience. I had been breastfeeding but needed support to continue (I visited when my daughter was 7 months) and received the information and tools I needed to continue my breastfeeding journey. It's also a very relaxing and cozy environment and Lauren spent a lot of time really listening to me and provided me with an individualized plan. Highly recommend!

  As a first time mom wanting to try breastfeeding, Susan was recommended to me by a trusted friend. I had a prenatal consultation, as well as follow-up visits once baby was here. Susan was always responsive via the online portal for any questions I have that come up and was also supportive when I decided to exclusively pump. She took her time with flange fitting for me and examining baby for latch, bottle feeding, and weight check. Her responsiveness on the portal was always paired with her message board of resources and videos that are always extremely helpful to go back to. I have sessions left and plan to continue to utilize Susan's huge knowledge base and help as I navigate motherhood and pumping!
