  Where do I even begin?
  
  This practice was recommended to me by my pelvic floor doctor. I interviewed two other potential doulas, but Janelle blew me away with her personality, knowledge, and clear passion for helping postpartum mommas.
  
  Her postpartum visits were helpful not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. The physical stuff is probably what I was most looking forward to (delicious food? tea? being wrapped and pampered? YES PLEASE), but it was the emotional and mental stuff that helped beyond anything I was expecting (and this was my fourth baby, so not my first rodeo!).
  
  Always quick with a story of another mom or another experience of someone in the same boat made me feel part of an immense community. Even though I didn't speak to any of these other women, I came to know them and their stories through Janelle and it made me feel connected in a way I think all new moms yearn to feel connected.
  
  The postpartum period is often so lonely and exhausting for new moms- even with all the excitement around the baby. Janelle flips that on its head and centers EVERYTHING on the healing mother.
  
  She is incredible- in so many ways. If you've made it this far into my novel of a review, do yourself the favor and book her for your next birth, ladies. You will absolutely thank yourself for it. And if you want more specific details, drop me a line and I'll happily wax poetic about her forever. She is truly special and blessed with a genuine passion for helping and healing new mommas.

  I was looking for a postpartum doula that focuses on holistic care, and after a lot of research, I stumbled upon foi en la femme from a Facebook ad. I went to her website and got very interested on her approach on postpartum care, so I decided to sign a contract with her. The service that I actually got was more than I ever imagined of getting. Not only does Janelle educate you, she also guides you every step of the way without missing a beat. Her classes are literally everything!! My experience with Janelle was impeccable, and I can’t wait to have her again for our second one. LOL. She is family Now!! If you’re having doubts in booking “foi en la femme”, DO NOT!! You get more than what you paid for.

  My partner and I absolutely LOVED learning from and working with Janelle. We can honestly say that without Janelle we would not have been as prepared for labor as we were. Her presence during all stages of birth (pre, labor, and post) was of calm and reassurance during a life-changing experience. Working with Janelle for the length of time that we did also allowed us to form a relationship that will last forever. She will be a part of our little ones' life forever.

  Words CANNOT express how invaluable and incredible Janelle’s services were. The meals were delicious. The classes were informative. I felt well prepared and informed to give birth. Janelle was with me from the minute I went into labor until I delivered. She was by my side every step of the way providing me with comfort measures and guidance. I literally COULD NOT have given birth without her. I am so glad I booked her and I highly recommend her services.

  I can't say enough good things about my childbirth education classes and time spent with Janelle! She was patient for all of our questions (which were a lot) and provided thoughtful answers, she is educated and you can tell her passion is to share that knowledge with parents-to-be, and she provided educational resources we could access ourselves outside of her classes. I feel so much more confident in my knowledge and my upcoming birth due to Janelle's help. If you are considering working with Janelle stop considering and do it!!
