(March 25, 2023, 11:46 am)It was pretty fun and when it snows it’s the best place to go and in the summer there’s an ice cream truck that’s amazing for your kids and it’s amazing to kite and to just have fun!

(February 10, 2021, 10:19 pm)Best place in NJ to go sledding. Nice hill that wasn't too ominous for my 8 and 9 yo girls. It was also really awesome to be standing in the place where my grandparents had their second date in the late 1950's!

(July 4, 2019, 7:10 am)Beautiful park. Well manicured. Wanted to have fun rolling down the hill like the kids. Instead I sat on the lawn and watch the kids have fun. A good place to sleigh in the snow. The free concert was outstanding. I danced and enjoy every minute of it. Thanks West Orange for the opportunity.

Flood's Hill North Ridgewood Road, near Mead Street/Highland Road Parking along South Ridgewood Road. South Orange, NJ 973-378-7754 Website Located adjacent to Meadowland Park and The Baird Community Center, it's one of the most popular sledding areas in NJ. Can be a bit scary for small kids, especially when icy. The hill can very crowded.
