  I needed caregivers for my mother quickly and it was New Year's weekend. After calling a few providers, I found FirstLight to be responsive and they worked hard to get me caregivers despite it being a holiday weekend. I recommend them and will certainly reach out to them again should the need arise.

  FirstLight came into our lives unexpectedly. Their response time was almost immediate, and their level of compassion and professionalism was beyond compare. There are not enough stars or positive words I can use to describe how amazing this organization was for us. John and Bridget set everything up in the morning and there was a care giver at my dad’s home that afternoon. Alisha’s care of my dad will bring tears to my eyes for a very long time. Although we did not anticipate this would ultimately be end of life care, we are so grateful for the compassion and dignity she gave to my dad near the end. The next day would be his last and Mark stayed, bathed and kept my father comfortable until his literal last breath. The people we interacted with at FirstLight are angels that walk amongst us. They were calming and caring. They gave us and my father peace. A thank you feels insufficient to express our unending gratitude. May you all know that we are honored to have had you with us.

  FirstLight Home Care provides an essential service with an immense amount of care, reliability, and respect for both their clients and employees. They always treat YOUR family like their own! Sara, from FirstLight, always puts the clients' needs before her own, and works endlessly to make sure all clients and employees are satisfied and happy with the services.

  I have had the pleasure of working with both Sara and Ryan at FirstLight. As a wheelchair van service provider, I work with a lot of home care companies and their aides. FirstLight Home Care is among those companies in the area that has top-notch aides as their employees. I can't say that about very many home care companies in my area, but my confidence is always with FirstLight Home Care. From your very first phone call straight through being matched with the right caregiver for you, your experience will be pleasant, smooth and care-free.

  First Light Home Care has been an answer to so many needs. My father-in-law has a debilitating illness which is progressively become more severe and requiring increased care and supervision. First Light Home Care responded quickly and thoughtfully by providing someone who quickly grasped the situation and became more than a mere caregiver. My father-in-law is allowed to do the things for which he still has the capabilities, while receiving unobtrusive supervision and care on those tasks for which he is not. The caregiver also far exceeds the “task” of care and supervision by engaging my father-in-law in relational and physical activities with conversation, games, walks, etc. My father-in-law receives excellent care and supervision. The care is very flexible and has been increased when schedules and obligations required and decreased when not necessary.
  
  The services provided by First Light Home Care is transformational. My family’s life has resumed to being more normal and relaxed. It is no longer a rush from one errand and task to another in “crisis mode”. There is time to spend time as a family and family activities, not focusing on just the physical care of my father-in-law. First Light Home Care has far exceeded our expectations and needs.
