  Our group of 10 women had a fabulous time in this gorgeous home. We were on the island in late April and experienced a magnificent storm witnessing the most beautiful and wild ocean. The house is literally on the beach with wall-size windows, wide wrapping decks, and extraordinary views everywhere. The beds were comfy, the property was immaculate, the beach access a few steps from the house, and the house is well set apart from other houses.The paths through the neighborhoods were fun to stroll on even in the rain — the deer were friendly and the fox curious! We loved being there before the "big" season but were still able to shop for simple groceries and a few souvenirs at “the pantry” and enjoy a great meal in Ocean Beach at Castaways. We opted for the water taxi from Bayshore and had a wonderful captain. We can’t wait to return! 🐚

  Spent two September nights at this 🌟 Fire Island gem 🌟 celebrating my husband’s birthday with our family. Cannot recommend staying in this gorgeous sanctuary more. Highlights include:
  
  -stunning view of both the sunrise & sunset overlooking the ocean
  -5 bedrooms with varied sleeping situations
  -surround sound with an accompanying AV app
  -well-stocked kitchen with expertly labeled dish ware and utensils
  -gas grill on the deck
  -bikes and tricycles to carry groceries from local markets
  -beach gear to relax on the beach
  -friendly responsiveness of host, Dru

  Beautiful rental! The house is clean and well-equipped. The ocean front views can’t be beat! Amazing location with huge deck that wraps around the entire house. Steps from the ocean with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Comfortable beds, nice amenities and bikes for a big group. We had a wonderful stay at this rental, definitely recommend.

  We have been vacationing for years in Ocean Bay Park and had always walked past the Sunrise Sunset house on our way to the beach. This year we were lucky enough to secure a week at this beautiful house and we were blown away. The views from the the ocean front deck along with the comfort of the ocean breeze were perfect!! We loved every aspect of this house and to top things off, Dru really goes above and beyond to make you feel at home in their family’s house throughout the week. She is quick and responsive to any needs and easy to reach.

  We had an amazing week celebrating our daughter's graduation from college with family and friends at this beautifully situated home. The views were incredible and the place cozy. The outdoor deck was a great place to lounge. The fireplace went out but Dru had a repair person out quickly and was incredibly responsive about everything. Definitely would recommend the house and Fire Island, which was a fun getaway and really felt faraway even though it is so close to NYC. Walking the beach, beach volleyball, sunken forest, biking on the island were all super fun. So glad we found this gem and may very well return.
