I am very glad I found Lajuan! I did a few classes with her but had to stop for a while because of life 😂 but I am looking forward to coming back. She has taught me techniques and exercises that I can continue while I’m on my own. She is very positive and very encouraging! I had always been afraid to sing in public but she has helped me change that. She is not just a vocal coach to me but also my therapist! Lol! I know I have improved with her help and can definitely say I have much more confidence now than before.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE working with Lajuan! I’ve been consistently seeing Lajuan as my private vocal instructor since April 2021. Lajuan is honestly the best vocal coach I have ever had! I have been working with her for almost 2 years now and my singing and confidence have blossomed tremendously. She is always patient and makes sure her students are singing/working on things that make them happy but also benefit them in the long run. I have always had dreams of becoming a professional singer and she has truly made me feel like it’s possible. I would recommend her lessons to anyone who loves to sing whether professionally or as just a hobby.
Ms LaJuan Carter is the best mentor. She is the queen of music. My daughter Bani has been with her for the past year and she is blessed to be under her guidance. Ms. LaJuan makes a very special effort to keep her students interested in music and enhance there talent as well as their confidence. My daughter Kaylin was referred to LaJuan after booking Amateur Night at the Apollo in summer of 2018. We were told that Kaylin needed a Pro R&B staging/vocal coach. LaJuan graciously took on Kaylin as a student. We live over an hour away and made the trek to Edison for 8 weeks in a row. Those 8 sessions were a life-changing experience for Kaylin and I. LaJuan has brought Kaylin’s performing, confidence, stage presence and vocals to a whole new, professional level. She is an amazing mentor, coach and friend to the entire family.
