(February 27, 2022, 4:49 pm)I went to the Speak Life Center at the Filipino & American Christian Fellowship today for their 11 AM Service. The Pastor 's last name is Welcome! And this is how the first time guests really felt, including me....very very welcome. They explained that each person who visits their church is sent by God and they act accordingly! The welcoming atmosphere there was awesome. I also sat next to a friend and supporter of the Shepherd's Office Terry Collins. Br. Dave Schlichting gave a wonderful and thought provoking message about "What is your reputation?" I made some new friends and caught up with an old friend. I asked them to pray for the broken hearted and the shattered souls in our Georgetown community and we have been added to their prayer list. Thank you all so much for all the prayers from Pastor Welcome and the members of his congregation and community. He explained that now I am part of his church family.

Warm welcome you as you step into there congregation makes you feel welcome I can only say one thing there’s no other church I’ve been that’s quite this amazing. I came in without any expectations and I gain a family. Pastor John Welcome is amazing on what he does his messages are enlightening and inspiring.

(November 5, 2017, 10:53 pm)There is a huge difference in a church experience when you find out that the pastor is not paid by the congregation and he does it for the love of the church and Christ. I wish that all churches can make you feel as welcome as this one. Many in the church are Filipino but don't let that deter you. There is every type of nationality here that represents all of Kent County. The church is open to everyone and the Filipino community and all members of this church here accept you as family the minute that you arrive. On a personal note the music is awesome and there is great food and fellowship after each service!
