  This was an amazing experience. Never would I have imagined that you would have the best sleep in a tent. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable. The dome tent was very thoughtfully planned and you didn’t miss anything. Instructions and communication were flawless. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again. The commons area was also a nice treat, coffee and good company. Loved our stay.

  We spent two nights in a dome tent and really enjoyed our visit to Ferncrest and being in Promised Land State Park! This was a pretty unique experience and we really enjoyed the dome tent - no, it's not "camping," but it was a wonderful, comfortable way to spend a couple evenings in the woods - the beds were super comfy and there really isn't anything like sitting in your own little hot tub in the woods (once we got the fire started!). They'd only been open a little more than a month and they're still working on a lot, so some things were still a bit rough - the bathrooms are far away and there aren't many of them, for example (thus the four stars for "service"). Loved having the coffee and ice cream trucks out front, and we met some great people during the trip.

  We stayed in a dome tent 8/12-8/14. The process to book and check in was effortless via text messages. We enjoyed the amenities and quietness of the campsite, even though it is not far from a main road. Not having vehicles on the actual sites was a nice feature. It’s only a short walk to the parking lot to bring your gear and they provide carts large enough to make one trip with everything we brought.
  
  Special accommodation should be given to Steve and Susan, the main “hosts” on site most days who oversee the grounds and run the coffee/ice cream operations. They are warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Ferncrest is a great place to stay if you want a fun glamping experience. We will definitely stay again in the future.
  
  Wood fired hot tub took a bit to get going, but was very hot once I got the fire stoked. I would recommend using less wood than you think you need, and starting it early. It will take several hours to heat up.

  We had a ball! My family along with my neighbor’s family spent the weekend there. The site is close to a bunch of fun places- state parks with a beach and lake, hiking trails. Our city kids loved being able to roam. The staff and service was great. The tents were clean and spacious. We will definitely be back

  The domes were very well designed, with comfortable beds and amenities that created a great balance between feeling like camping and staying in a hotel room. The wood fire hot tub was very relaxing and the campsite bathrooms / showers were in great condition. The owners of the campsite seemed attentive and welcoming and clearly pay close attention to details. We highly recommend!
