(September 27, 2022, 11:01 am)We are so glad to have found this warm and welcoming community in Farmington Valley. We recently moved to Connecticut and the Rabbi and members of FVJC have gone above and beyond to make us feel at home in our new little town. This is a thriving and very active congregation whose clergy are very approachable and always available when needed. The religious school is growing rapidly and the community is a great mix or older and younger families. I really appreciate the option to view services virtually which we have done many times when health or schedules intervene. If you are considering a move to the area, you can expect a wonderful welcome from FVJC!

(March 9, 2021, 1:06 pm)FVJC is one of the most incredibly warm, friendly, accepting, Spiritually and religiously fulfilling communities I've ever experienced! Rabbi Rebekah Goldman is simply a gift to all of us, and I've enjoyed participating on the Volunteer, Gardening, and Membership committees. There are many activities and programs, and even during the past difficult year, we are able to participate in weekly Shabbat Services, and other programs via Facebook and Zoom. FVJC is welcoming to all, and it shows!

(December 3, 2020, 9:15 am)FVJC is a synagogue that goes far beyond the expected!! We have been so fortunate to have Rabbi Bekah Goldman as our spiritual leader, bringing calm to us all, with her insight, enthusiasm and warm, inclusive presence. During this challenging, isolating pandemic, FVJC remains constant in the lives of congregant families and is welcoming to visitors. In the past several months, my family has attended services, meetings and classes via both Zoom and FaceTime. There have been congregant check-in phone calls, High Holiday packages delivered to homes, Rabbi led Zoom discussion groups, and now preparations for Hanukkah!!

(March 10, 2018, 11:16 am)This reform synagogue is extremely welcoming to all individuals. Provisions for handicapped access are made, and the congregation is vibrant and services uplifting and warm. An informal atmosphere pervades and frequent variation in services including potluck dinners are held.
