  This school is phenomenal beyond words. From every instructor being so knowledgeable and patient to Master Marmo leading by example and speaking to everyone with such respect. I have such an appreciation for the way she would teach each student. If she needed to speak to the students, she would come to their eye level and speak with such compassion and integrity.
  I loved watching my children be taught by her and her students.

  I can’t say enough wonderful things about Family Martial Arts! Master Marmo is patient and understanding but firm when needed. Her knowledge and experience are second to none. And this school is truly a family... supportive, welcoming, and involved in the community.

  I cannot say enough great things about Family Martial Arts!!! My daughter started when she is 9 years old and is now 12. She loves being there just as much as when she first started. She has taken away so much from being a student of Family Martial Arts including tons of knowledge of Taekwondo and lifelong friendships!!
  Master Emily Marmo is one of the best instructors around. She is extremely knowledgeable and she makes every student feel just as important as the next!!!! If yourself or your child is considering joining Taekwondo I highly recommend Family Martial Arts!! As soon as you walk into the school I guarantee you will feel like part of the "Family!"

  Having studied martial arts for 10 years, I can not think of a more knowledgeable, patient, and disciplined instructor than Sensei Ferdico. Here you will not only learn Tae Kwon Do in all its facets, but a wide variety of practical fighting styles like Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, and Kung Fu from a man with decades of experience and his capable instructors. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

  Whether you are a child, teenager or an adult, this is the BEST place to learn martial arts. I studied under owner and Sensai, Russ Ferdico, for several years. He is an excellent instructor and a great role model. He has an excellent, well-trained staff who work hard to teach and promote the ideals of a martial artist. SMA offers various programs at different times during the week to make it as convenient as possible for the student. If you are looking for either yourself or your child to study martial arts, I 100% recommend Success Martial Arts. If you are not fully convinced, just stop by and you will fully agree with this review. The warm hospitality will immediately earn your trust, and you will be willing to train with some of the best martial artists in the Hudson Valley area; hands down.
