All five of my Children started this school at 2 years and 9 months old. And they all graduated from this School. My four oldest are all college graduates with Great Careers or heading to college. My 17yr old just graduated from high school and heading to St. John University with academic scholarships. The education and Family values that they receive from this school are what got them through high school all the way to College. Great Job Ms. Taylor, and her Team.
I love this school my daughter went there for only one year and I can tell you she learned a lot. The only reason I took my daughter out is because she got accepted into a charter school. I have a son who will be turning 2 and I am sending him to this school. The education there is great and your kids will learn. I will sacrifice and pay the tuition to send my son here rather than day care because I know he will learn a lot here. The parents that complain about the school know the school was small from the get go so why complain now you have your child there. We as blacks don't love to support our own.
I had the opportunity to teach computer class at the school and I can tell you that it is an exceptional school. The review about the condition of the school from Honest Mom is clearly one of an unhappy person who want to harm the reputation of the organization. The teachers are in tune with the students, the students are well behaved and extremely articulate. This is a perfect enviornment for a quality education.
I have 3 children, one graduated from Faith Christian 2 years ago and the other 2 are current students. The other reviews here are just sad. I am a social worker and I would NEVER put my children in harms way. My children LOVE Faith Christian Academy. The principal in these reviews are being called a liar (sad, sad, sad). The only fault I would give her is that she spoils these children too much. This is the Bronx, and a very under served community. I could never throw stones about this school as it tries to provide a christian environment, something unheard of in the public schools. In addition they are small, with predominantly African-Caribbean students. Why would we fight against our own people? The facilities are small, yes I agree, but every parent including myself, knows that before we enroll our children. We don't register them from the outside, do we? Why enroll your child, send them to school and then complain about the size? My children have never complained about it being cold in the winter either. I am sure they wouldn't be in business if so much was so bad. Thanks Faith Christian for all you have done for my children!!
