(June 18, 2023, 5:54 pm)There hasn't been a moment since I called Fairfield Family Health in July 2022 to now (almost a year later) that I am not completely grateful for this practice. I have Lyme Disease, and for anyone who is struggling with this disease, know that if you choose to go to FFH, you will not be alone in your healing journey.
For the over 6 months before I found FFH, I was tossed from doctor to doctor because no one knew what was going on, and then when I was diagnosed with Lyme, there was no treatment besides the 2 weeks of doxycycline. I was told at different points to 'breath through' the chest pain and shortness of breath and I would need to deal with all the terrible symptoms the rest of my life. In searching for a Lyme Literate Doctor, I found Fairfield Family Health. Now to give context, I live about 2 1/2 hours away, though I had heard of incredible reviews of Dr. Patterson and her team.
The first day I called, I spoke with Gloria and she asked my story. I found myself sharing the months of agony of being bounced around, the pain in my muscles, the complete exhaustion, and the lack of support from the medical field. Gloria was so incredibly helpful and supportive and at the end of the call, she said, "I'm so glad you called. We will help you get through this."
The thing I like best about FFH, is how they treat you as if you're the only patient. From my appointments with Dr. Patterson to talking with Maggie on reordering my supplements, everyone takes the time to make sure you have everything you need. Our treatment is also mainly tele-health, which for the almost monthly appointments, it makes it so much more accessible than if it was in-person. The other incredible aspect is how if a treatment isn't working the way that it should be (like mine wasn't initially from September 2022-January 2023), Dr. Patterson doesn't just say 'oh well, we tried." She listens, learns, and tries something new. It's all about 'tweaking' the supplements, treatments, etc. to find the best for the individual person.
I'm coming up on a year since I called FFH, and 9 months since being in treatment with Dr. Patterson. My Lyme journey has certainly not been easy or linear, though through all the highs and the lows, Dr. Patterson and her team is there for me, and I couldn't be more grateful. -

I love that it is a one stop shop where I could get expert, compassionate care, along with the supplements that I need. Dr. Patterson took me from tired and worn out all of the time to energetic and enthusiastic. Gloria and Maggie make sure that I get my supplements so quickly. It’s so convenient because they send them quickly, and I get them within 2 days. I highly recommend Fairfield Family Health. I have had no experience like it!

I’ve yet to come across many medical professionals who are as invested in solving their patients’ medical issues as she is. She is brilliant, goes above and beyond her role, and always follows through on what she says she will do! Dr. Patterson exudes patience during each appointment and is always fully engaged in our sessions. No health issue is too far gone for her to attempt to improve or remedy. Because of Dr. Patterson’s genuine dedication to ushering me out of my autoimmune condition and into optimal health, I attend each appointment hopeful that this disease will not be long-lasting. I must also mention how AWESOME her staff is, especially Maggie! They are professional, thoughtful, and always pleasant when I interact with them. I am grateful to have Dr. Patterson and the Fairfield Family Health team on my journey to healing

After seeing 2 GI Drs and a Nutritionist, and put on several medications that did not work, Dr Patterson was recommended to us. I can honestly say, Dr. Patterson and her staff Gloria and Maggie changed my daughters life in a short period of time. My daughter is finally on a path of recovery and has never felt better. They all care so much and I would recommend Fairfield Family Health to everyone..as a matter of fact, my daughter is amongst 5 family members that now see Dr. Patterson, all on path to better health!
