  We are living here and the staff is just wonderful. We joke and they care about their tenants. We feel more welcomed here than in the apartment we were burnt out of. Thank you for accommodating our family.

  Budget motel. Get what is expected. Rooms are outdated and furniture is old but VERY VERY VERY clean and people are really nice. Very accommodating. Great location for West Point visit.

  It’s close to West Point. That’s why you’re looking here right? If not, keep looking. It is 3 miles away, within official walking privileges, and takes 6 minutes from the room to The Plain. Staff was friendly and HONEST. I was more focused on my cadet than myself, and left behind a valuable item. Most places this would be in the pocket of staff, but I called the next day and it was turned into the office. Our room was clean (not to perfection, but I find this to be a nationwide problem in the summer of 2021). Laminate flooring, new tile and fixtures in the bathroom, and a large fat screen TV. We had no trouble with hot water or WIFI, and the beds were clean and comfortable. A/C worked well. Overall very happy with my clean and close room, and honest staff.
  
  Now, was it overpriced? Yes. Just like every other hotel in the area with a big event at USMA. Some of the plugs worked, and some didn’t. The room felt a little damp - probably from the A/C that cooled my room to a nice 68 when it was 98 outside. It is an older motel, with no elevators. If you want upscale and modern, you probably have to go all the way to NYC. The upside to that is you can park 3 feet from the hotel door. Our fridge was loud, but it worked. I suggest you bring earplugs, air freshener, and a positive attitude. Enjoy the extra time with your cadet.
