  Nice walking park in nature.
  Most intersections have maps so you won't get lost. And even if you do, you only have to walk a half mile out of your way at most.
  Well suited for those who are physically challenged because the paths are flat.

  Well marked trails. Diversity of habitat. Saw lots of birds and other wildlife such as deer, mink, and harmless snakes. Excellent, knowledgeable staff. Wish we had a prk like this near where I live.

  Great education center on local flora and fauna. Fun place to learn about all the creatures great and small in the area. Fun interactive exhibits for little kids too. The basement (there's a lift) is especially exciting and I was impressed with all the things like fossils and history of the region on display. There are trails around the lake as well. I think the sign said no dogs....we didn't go on trails due to lack of time.

  Walk In The Park Hiking Group (found on Fb and Meetup) Celebrating its Founders Birthday today at Lord Sterling's Environmental Education Center... We hiked the "Grand Loop" around the park. Many trails and boardwalks were under water today but this group thought it was awesome!! After the hike many took the opportunity to check out the indoors of the EEC as well.... EEC folks do an excellent job of educating the public of the importance of caring for The Great Outdoors

  The EEC is the best public leisure facility I have ever experienced. Its wide ranging programs for gardens, birding. Kayaking and canoeing, and Nature related trips never disappoint.
  
  The naturalists are incredibly knowledgeable and are wonderful teachers and program leaders. All of the staff members are helpful welcoming and accommodating.
  
  There are fantastic educational and entertaining programs for kids of all ages. Everyone can enjoy ongoing Art, Environmental and seasonal exhibits and events. The visitor can also explore onsite trails and gardens throughout the year.
  
  There is something for everyone to discover at the EEC. GO THERE!

Payment by credit card - Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express - is required at time of registration. Individuals with hearing or speech impairments may call the Relay Service @711 to register.
