  I first saw Ellen after I had my knee replaced since then she has worked on my shoulder and my neck. Because of her knowledge and experience she can pinpoint issues and uses different techniques to solve the problem. She is one of the best physical therapist I have ever been to. I can't recommend her highly enough.

  After a fall I went to see Ellen and she has been a lifesaver. I went from being in terrible pain and sure my riding days were over to being to sleep pain free, back to riding and slowly getting stronger and discovering how to realign my posture to avoid some of the damage my years at the desk had added to the damage from the fall! She's smart, explains what she is doing and why and gives you a way to work on thing gently and wisely at home.

  Having degenerative back issues that trigger nerve pain, I have received excellent physical therapy from Ellen. She has worked with me to come up with effective strategies to alleviate pain with emphasis on the importance of core strength and posture. More importantly Ellen has helped me understand and visualize the anatomy of my issues on a functional level and has given me the tools to help manage them, increase activity and hopefully avoid back injections. She is an excellent listener, and comes up with creative and personalized strategies. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

  Ellen Walker is by far the best physical therapist that I have ever known. I have a long list of sports and physical activity-related injuries, issues, and surgeries. Without doubt, Ellen is the most capable, knowledgeable, and experienced person whom I have dealt with in the profession. Her individual attention and care are outstanding. Because of her experience she recognizes every aspect and nuance of a problem and deals with them accordingly. Her diagnostic ability and practical solutions for post-surgery rehabilitation, long term care of existing problems, and genuine concern make her indispensable for people who want to remain active. Recently, she has expertly rehabilitated both my shoulders after replacement surgeries. She is a pleasure to work with.

  Ellen Walker is a very talented PT. I have seen her for over 20 years for different issues- something as simple as tennis elbow (very painful) and for a shoulder injury after a fall and more recently for sciatica. My shoulder was a very complex recovery involving nerve damage and she was so patient and honest about expectation of recovery. Ellen is intuitive - she senses the problem almost before her hands touch you- a true healer.
