(March 28, 2023, 12:17 pm)Tom is amazing! I can not recommend him enough! I had a TPMS light on my car for months and no one could figure out what was wrong. I was actually told by the dealer to "ingore" the light. Tom was the only one to take the time to figure out what was wrong and help get it fixed! I will be sending anyone I can to him!

(July 20, 2022, 9:59 pm)Tom has been my mechanic for 2 years and my mother's for almost a decade. He is very accommodating, diligent, friendly, honest, and reasonably priced. He's very good at diagnosing car issues and explaining exactly what needs to be done, as well as offering options on how to fix those issues and what they entail. He always tells me what I can just do myself, has never tried to sell me on getting non-essential work done, and all the work is done in a timely manner. I am very lucky to have Tom as my mechanic, and I highly recommend him!

(May 19, 2021, 11:06 pm)Tom Farrell has been my mechanic for over 15 years, and I have been very happy with both the quality of his work, and how I have been treated.
Even though he runs a small shop and my requests for service are almost always on short notice (older car), he makes sure to check out my car on a timely basis. He is clear and thorough when stating what needs to be repaired. His price quotes are always in the ballpark of the actual bill. His prices are fair.
Tom knows I’m on a budget, and unlike the larger chains, he doesn’t price-gauge or fast-talk me into getting more than what’s necessary. He knows my car inside and out, which would never be the case at a large shop.
Thanks to Tom, my car is running well for over 250k miles.
If you’re looking for an honest, plain-speaking mechanic who does great work at fair prices, and who will make the time for your car, then Tom Farrell at Electrotech is your guy. -

(September 11, 2018, 7:03 am)We have been taking our cars to Electro Tech for years and we always feel confident that Tom and Eric will be honest and do great work in a very reasonable amount of time.
They are not close to our home, but it is so worth the trip to know that our cars are in good hands.
Just last Friday, my older Subaru started having a very loud rattling/growling noise from the engine area. I was very close to home, so went back and had the car towed to Tom's after realizing that driving it could ruin the car forever. We believed it was something very wrong with the engine.
Tom and Eric arrived at work on Saturday morning, to find my Subaru waiting for them, once again, and knowing that we are trying to keep this car going for as long as we can, jumped right on diagnosing our car.
Within less than 1 hour, Tom called with the good news that it was the timing belt/ tensioner pulley and that we did not need a new engine at all. Towing it also saved the car.
We discussed the cost and timing of the work and we were back on the road Saturday with a huge weight lifted off of us. Tom always makes sure that we know to call him if there are any issues at all, and checks out other things to make sure the cars are safe before leaving his shop.
Cannot say enough about how great it feels to have an honest, caring, responsible team of car guys!
Kudos to Tom and Eric.
Worth the trip from anywhere!
