(July 24, 2023, 11:39 am)I came here on a Monday evening and it was busy. Nice restaurant and good atmosphere to it. I was in the bar area and there were TVs so that was nice. Menu has a wide selection. I got nachos as an app and chicken tacos for my main. Tacos were pretty big, they weren't your normal street taco. Chicken had a smokey taste to it which added a nice flavor. It came with Pico and the red sauce. Really delicious.
My only gripe was the bartender, he seemed very flustered. Forgetting napkins and I had to flag him down for a couple of other things..which means he wasn't checking on us. I thought about docking a star for service, but I'll chalk it up to an off day. We all have them. I overall recommend and I'll be back. -

(July 20, 2023, 9:09 pm)Stopped here on our way upstate and what a great find! Food was amazing, drinks were great, service was friendly. Also appreciated that the staff was diligent about cleaning tables and the bar. We will definitely be back!

(April 28, 2023, 6:38 pm)We stumbled upon this place by accident. The owner needs to make sure this place pops up as a restaurant with just a simple google search.
The wait staff incredibly friendly and attentive. Service was top notch, food was delicious and their drinks were tasty.
The sampler was delicious. The one person sampler is good for two people as well. The steak, chicken and shrimp were absolutely delicious.
The decor is a bit bland but their instrumental Mexican music was a nice addition to the ambiance. I wish they would play the original tracks of some of the songs played.
If you’re in the area or looking for some good Mexican food; then come to El Sombrero.
Highly recommend this location. Their restrooms are clean and well maintained.
This location is worthy of its five star rating. -

(April 13, 2023, 4:38 pm)Went here for the first time last night! Food was delicious! Drinks were great! Service was great too! Waitress did put one of our food orders in wrong but they fixed it right away with no problem! My daughters ordered their own food and drinks, waitress was very nice and ensured she heard them correctly to get what they wanted. Definitely will go back again soon!

(July 30, 2022, 6:00 pm)Yummy! I like the deep dried food. Crispy and not too much powder. Calamari, chicken wings .. yummy. Sombrero Grill sampler for 2 can have different favors at same time. Actually I think the amount for 3 are no problem . The only concern for me today is the service. Wait for a long time to get the food. While having food, missing water, missing plates, ..etc. but waiter/waitress are nice.
