(July 11, 2023, 8:59 pm)Wife and I ordered the Tostones, beef pastelillos, and relleno de papas, along with the flan and bread pudding for dessert. Absolutely amazing. Truly authentic Puerto Rican food. Homemade food takes time to make. You can get quick frozen food elsewhere. It's made from scratch and just like Abuela used to make, and it's priced just right. I'm only disappointed I ordered only 2 pastelillos because I devoured them. I cannot recommend this place enough.

(July 2, 2023, 4:48 pm)Absolutely delicious!! I was driving through the area and El Coqui caught my eye. I got the chicken stew with beans and rice (with gandules). SO delicious!! Tasted just like a home cooked meal. You won’t regret it!

(February 3, 2023, 3:55 pm)Family-owned and delicious. I met the sweet, hospitable mother and daughter combo while stopping by for lunch and will certainly be returning in the future!
I'm not fond of beans, but the beans they made (which is a family recipe passed down according to the daughter), were fantastic!
The beef stew was so tender, it just fell apart as I ate it and the flavor was so rich and good.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
