  Dave is fantastic and this is the only place I will take my gm vehicles to for tuning. I brought my 14 silverado to then after a cam and head swap and it was running super rich from another custom tuner. They found the issue during a dyno session and tuned it on the spot even tho I wasn't scheduled for tuning. Truck drives way better and picked up power

  I originally brought my car here after being referred by a friend to get a tune because I was having a lot of problems with my car. While on the dyno Dave saw that it was not making the amount of boost that it used to and Dave was able to assess what was wrong and show me the problem right away (Un-Keyed pulley spinning on the crank). He also was able to tell that something was not right with my clutch just from driving it into the shop (and when he pulled it apart he couldn't have been more correct- it looked horrible due to it not being shimmed correctly).
  
  During my time at the shop I got to meet all of the staff and really get to know them. They are very knowledgeable about everything on the LS/LT platforms (as well as MANY others) and a great group of guys to be around. I knew at that moment that this was the shop I was going to have work on my car.
  
  When asked how I would like to proceed they didn't try to push me to go a different route. They gave me a couple options and when I chose to keep my car with them they said they would send an invoice over the next morning. Instead of trying to sell me on the complete engine rebuild they sent me the invoice to get my car back in working order and said if I decided I wanted to do more to let them know.
  
  Since I knew I was going to end up building the engine eventually I figured I might as well get it done while they have to take the whole thing apart anyway. They were able to help set me up with an amazing short block setup for my car that would be able to handle all the power I want to eventually throw at it and then some. A month later I decided I wanted to add more boost to it since I was going to have the motor to handle it and they were able to get me set up with the YSI I wanted at a great price. They didn't try to add unnecessary stuff that I didn't need to the build either and they didn't try to jack up the prices on parts. This is a place that you can bring your car to and fully support your shop from parts to install to tuning.
  
  Now let's get to the meat and potatoes. The car put down great numbers with the current setup 844hp/744tq. The minute I got in the car and started driving I could tell that my clutch felt a million times better than before and exactly how a clutch of that caliber should feel. The driveability of the car is absolutely amazing and the car pulls like a bat out of hell. The belt drive for my YSI is laser straight (they noticed that the pulleys were slightly off and shimmed them accordingly) something a lot of shops would look over. They really make sure that every part of the car is perfect instead of just throwing it together, throwing it on the dyno and sending you on your way.
  
  There are probably a million things I have left out about my experience at this shop. The one thing I do know is I wrote such a long review because they deserve it. Dave, Jon, Butch and Mike are not only great at what they do but the hospitality that comes with the whole experience is second to none. I didn't just gain a new shop to get work done on my car- I gained new friends, new acquaintances, and a great team behind me for the 2020 season and beyond!
  
  I recommend this shop to anyone that is looking for a tune to get their vehicle to make some serious Jam- any type of build from Mild-Wild - or anyone just looking for a shop that cares for your car just like it was one of their own. In an area with a lot of half-*** shops and wannabe TOONERS EFx Tuning blows the competition out of the water from the minute you drop your car off to the minute you pick it up. If you live anywhere close to the NY tri-state area you are doing yourself a disservice if you do not take your car here. And if you read this and find out the hard way just remember I told you so...

  I cannot be more pleased with my experience with EFX Tuning. Dave, John, Mike are all awesome people to deal with. I brought my 99 vette in for a tune since I had a supercharger added. We found an issue with my exhaust and these guys pulled out my whole exhaust even though they were swamped with work to begin with. They did an awesome job and made me feel extremely welcome in their shop. If I lived closer they would get sick of me stopping by for visits. I had a great day overall and Dave tuned my car to perfection.......Very satisfied......

  I knew my car wasn't running right and had to take it somewhere that could take me in ASAP before the season was over. Not only was Dave able to get me in that weekend, but was able to get me more power with less boost but more importantly he was able to find the source of my problem.
  
  He gave me all of my options and let me decide which route I wanted to choose. Since I spent a good 4 hours at that place (from doing the paperwork and finding the source of the problem, and then they courteously waited for me for my ride to come from 2 hours away on a Saturday) I got to learn a lot about the business practices and beliefs they instill at their shop. This is one stand up shop and I would recommend them to anybody. When I would inquire about more parts for my build, Dave would honestly tell me if it was completely unnecessary; this is not one of those shops that tries to up-sell you on a bunch of parts you don't need. I know they have a customer for life in me.
  
  From the minute I walked in they make you feel like family and like you have been going to their shop forever. It's a one stop shop: great performance work and an amazing tuner all in the same place. That's why they are now doing my forged LS3 w/ Vortech YSI swap as well as tightening up some other loose ends that have been giving me problems all season. If you don't go and check out EFx you are only playing yourself.
