Eastwick College - Ramsey

In January 2021, my spouse and friend committed to an 18-month accelerated program at Eastwick - Ramsey which offered her an opportunity to become a licensed/certified ST while also achieving an Associate degree in applied science. She chose this after a 20-year distance from her undergraduate college experience. And, as it turned out she landed in the CST Program with the nationally recognized CST educator who “wrote the book,” Karen Chambers. While the Program was extremely intense and demanding, the entire ST staff under Karen Chamber’s direction provided incredible structure, opportunities, support, continual guidance, and consistency which gave my spouse/friend something to propel off of and into a new field setting her up for a career full of endless potential. The program was an end-to-end opportunity from academics to experiential learning and skill building concluding with a real-world externship along with job placement opportunities. Upon passing the national exam (the first time) and graduating, and because of the Program’s structure combined with her own determination and investment in her learning, she landed the position she wanted in the hospital of her choice. It is with my most sincerely distinguished high marks and endorsement that I provide this feedback to anyone considering Eastwick’s CST Program under Karen Chamber’s direction – she's simply the best!

I wanted to shed light on my professor, Sheryl Raleigh. To start off, she is so bubbly and has a great sense of humor. Everytime I pass the lab in the hallway, she'll happily say "Hi Madison!", and I notice this is a common theme with most, if not all of her past/current students. From experience, I believe she wants us to succeed in these classes and digest the material so when we're ready to be out in the field, we have all the knowledge required for our careers. As the semesters go on, I feel more and more impressed by the staff- it's clear that they've hired highly intelligent and motivated instructors, and the professionalism is beyond my expectations. It's hard to find decent people anymore.

This is a letter my class sent to the school sharing our appreciation for Professor Raleigh:

Our CV4-A class that started in October 2021, would like to thank Eastwick College, President Eastwick, and our Dean Mrs. Vinci for providing us with such a remarkable teacher, Professor Sheryl Raleigh.

Professor Raleigh started each class setting high expectations meanwhile providing us with efficient clear material we needed to succeed in our classes and to pass our certifications. She always went above and beyond to make sure each and every one of us had all the support we needed to succeed. We can all confidently state that we all feel beyond blessed for having her as our professor! She genuinely cared about our education and it showed through her passion for teaching us.

Some of our classmates haven’t been to college outside of Eastwick, and some of us have had additional schooling outside of Eastwick. For those who have experienced other professors and colleges can mutually agree that it is not easy to find a professor who has a natural talent for teaching as well as passion for it; to see their students achieve. It is bittersweet moving forward in the program without having a force like Professor Raleigh continuing on with us. We owe her our sincerest appreciation!

These last ten months would not have been nearly as successful without having a positive, influential and intelligent force like Professor Raleigh. The amount of support and guidance we received as an entire class of however many students daily from her is unmatched and we owe her our sincerest appreciation for the amount of dedication and motivation she has instilled in us.

The Career services advisor was very helpful. Lisa is amazing. Because of her I got a job that I love as an OTA. I will never forget the time you follow up with me when I was in my lowest stage trying so hard to find a job. Lisa keep up the good work you are amazing.

So glad i went here! Love the career I am in and couldn't be more thankful to this school and program! Went for my Cardiovascular Sonography, and after working in the field for two years now i can confirm Eastwick really does make the best techs not just my words but job interviewers as well!
