I can’t say enough about my experience with Dr. Daniel Whalen and his staff.
First, when my daughter lived in New York City and visited us, she brought her cat, Gemini (Gemi), with her to our house in Easton. I called Dr. Whalen’s office to inquire if he could perform Gemi’s routine exam while they were here. I figured it would help alleviate my daughter’s stress of navigating the busy streets of NYC with a hysterical kitty in tow to a routine vet’s appointment. The office agreed with my reasoning and, thankfully, accommodated us and scheduled a somewhat last-minute appointment.
Don’t get me wrong, Gemi was still a nervous wreck, but Dr. Whalen and staff provided a stress-free visit for everyone else! In addition, the doctor was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to our needs. We are now happy to call him “Gemi's go-to doctor” whenever he visits.
Second, the sudden end-of-life turn of my friend's 18-year-old cat, Sam, was heartbreaking. Sam had been ailing for months, and, in the end, my friend didn't have enough time to drive him to his regular vet. When faced with my last-minute request, Dr. Whalen's office went above and beyond to make room for Sam.
Dr. Whalen and his staff faced a difficult situation when it came to euthanizing poor Sam, but their professional and compassionate demeanor helped everyone through the process. They provided comfort and support and their care was nothing short of exceptional.
What was really remarkable was they took the time to write and send my friend a condolence card!
We are grateful for all they have done for us and highly recommend Dr. Whalen and his staff to anyone looking for a great doctor in the area! -

(February 19, 2023, 9:28 pm)Okay so everyone says “my vets the best”. Dr. Dan is the epitome of the kind of person you want taking care of your pet. I’ve never met a more kind hearted, upbeat, enthusiastic vet in my life. You will 100% know he is in the business for the animals and not a thing more. It’s by far the most affordable place I’ve ever been to. I would never recommend anyone else, especially if you’re like me and you basically work mainly to spoil your pets.

(January 26, 2023, 11:37 am)I just wanted to express my deepest gratitude to this veterinary practice for opening their doors and hearts to us and for helping us through the most difficult and heartbreaking duty. If this had to be the end, I can't think of a better, kinder, more dignified sendoff. When our regular veterinarian said she was "too busy" these wonderful people took us in without question or reservation, even though we weren't clients. It is unfortunately so rare these days to encounter this level of integrity and professionalism, and kindness. From this encounter I can tell that this veterinary office puts pets first and truly cares about their well-being, which is the way it should be. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me bare a tiny bit of what still feels unbearable, and for giving me the strength to get through it. As it often happens at times like these, our minds block everything out, and it's possible that I can't remember any of your faces, as I was focused on just one face, but I shall never forget your kindness. I hope one day, when we are ready, we will have the privilege of becoming your clients. P.S. And a separate thank you for the beautiful handwritten card and the heartfelt sentiment. I will cherish it forever.
