  I have been a patient at East Hampton Family Dental for several years now. Dr. Canakala is great! She thoroughly explains each procedure every step of the way, and has a way of putting her patients at ease. She does excellent work!! She and her staff are professional, personable, and thorough. I definitely recommend East Hampton Family Dental to anyone looking for a dentist!!

  Wonderful experience every time. The team is friendly and very communicative. The staff are sure to let you know what is happening every step of the way. They're also fantastic with my 3 year old.

  We love EHFD! Everyone there is so kind and personable. Kate, the D.A. is so awesome. They’re also great with kids! During my daughters last appointment, we asked Kate how many teeth Pterodactyls had and she googled it for us. :)

  First off, let me start by saying I am not the type of person to typically leave reviews. I must feel very compelled to leave a review. That said, I can not say enough good things about this dentist office.
  
  After not seeing a dentist for about 10 years, Dr. Canakala came recommended to me by a friend. I swallowed my fear, and decided to give the office a try for a cleaning. I have been regularly going back ever since and I am always very happy with the results. I have seen great improvement in my oral health and have been going to this office for a few years now.
  
  Kate does my regular cleanings and she is so sweet. She has a gentle touch without compromising the effectiveness of the cleaning. She is very friendly and I feel very at ease and comfortable with her.
  
  Dr. Canakala is the star of the show and she really has excellent bedside manner. From the moment she enters the room you can tell she is not only bright and passionate but also cares about you as a person. She is very easy to talk to and has always understood my concerns. I feel very heard by her.
  
  When she filled my cavities, she was very gentle, and the procedures did not hurt at all. She fixed bad dental work from a previous dentist and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She checks in as she's working on you to make sure you're ok. I have not had any issues with her work afterwards like I did with a previous dentist.
  
  Dr. Canakala is very talented. I asked her to fill a front tooth cavity and was very nervous that the filling would be obvious. My filling blends seamlessly with my tooth and it looks perfect/natural. No one would be able to tell that I had a cavity filled on my front tooth. Dr. Canakala took the job very seriously and made sure I was really happy with the outcome. I sooo appreciate her!!
  
  A big thank you to Dr. Canakala and her staff for making dentist visits a comfortable experience instead of a negative one. I will go here for as long as I can!

  East Hampton Family Dental is extremely welcoming and comforting. I have had some very bad experiences in the past at other dental offices- but every single one of the staff members at East Hampton Family Dental made me feel so comfortable. I definitely have PTSD from other dentists offices/oral surgeries I’ve had done in the past, and suffer from an anxiety disorder as well, and everyone took the time to let me explain my past experiences/anxiety and even asked what they could do to help me get through my procedures. The receptionists, the hygienists, and Dr. Canakala went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% comfortable with every step of the process and explained everything very thoroughly to me, even checked in on me multiple times during my procedures to make sure I was doing alright. The employees here are absolutely wonderful people and I can tell that they genuinely care about the comfort of their patients. I would definitely recommend East Hampton Family Dental to anyone looking for a gentle, compassionate, thorough dentist. The employees and doctor here are wonderful people. I can’t stress enough how impressed I was with all of the staff and how comfortable they made me feel!
