(May 20, 2023, 10:02 am)Before meeting Dr. Capo I was stuck in a vicious cycle of constant sinus and nasal congestion, post nasal symptoms as well as chronic sinus infections.
I was tired of being bounced around between visits to urgent care doctors, allergists, ENTs and my primary care doctor, that would use “bandaid approach” treatments to temporarily treat my symptoms but not get to the bottom of what was causing them. In the recent two years my sinusitis increased in severity and frequency to the point that it was effecting all facets of my life. I felt like I was merely surviving and not living. Upon meeting Dr Capo he assured me that he would help me break the cycle of sinusitis. Within minutes of my first visit he had identified the causes of my ailments, both of my sinuses were blocked significantly, as well as having narrow airways between my sinuses and nose. He recommended minimally invasive in office sinus surgery to drain my sinuses and expand my airways. I set up the surgery that same day and here I am not even two full months post op and I’m breathing clearer and feeling better than I have in years. I can’t express my gratitude and appreciation enough for Dr. Joseph A. Capo. He understood the importance and urgency of getting me to a better quality of life. He couldn’t have been more helpful, knowledgeable or informative. The entire team at ENT of Nassau are top notch. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for all of your ear, nose and throat concerns. -

Dr. Capo and his team showed attentiveness and concern with my medical condition and spent the necessary time to diagnose my issues. Leaving the office, I felt confident that the problems I was experiencing were appropriately addressed.

(January 25, 2023, 8:58 pm)I was so pleased to get a same day appointment after accidently swallowing a piece of plastic from the soy sauce that got too close to some lo mein. The staff was very helpful and quickly got me in a room with little wait time. Dr Capo was friendly, thorough and patient in doing the dreaded scope up nose and down the throat. Didn't find the plastic but I had peace of mind. Would definitely recommend this office and doctor - will use again if needed although being extra careful with next order of take out!
