  It's hard to not give this place 5 stars given it's a 9/11 memorial. However, the viewpoint has a decent layer of garbage and filth unbecoming of the status as a memorial. The view is one of a kind and worth visiting. The grassy lawns are perfect for a picnic or playing around with the kids. There are also plenty of hiking/walking trails for feeling the nature.

  West Orange Eagle Rock Reservation
  As Ministers/ Wedding Officiants at Kimberlys Blessings, we have celebrated Micro weddings at this lovely place. We have found the grounds to be beautiful, with a very cozy Gazebo. Highly recommended. SPECTACULAR VIEWS of NYC and the Skyline.

  Didn’t do a hike but ended up taking a little quick scenic drive and drove up to the highlawn which is a restaurant (didn’t check it out). The views were so unbelievably pretty especially with the fall foliage!! You are able to see a view of NY from afar. Barely anyone there when I went on a weekday during lunch hours. Def would like to do a hike, it looks like there’s a couple of good trials!

  It has a very scenic and serene view of Manhattan. I love this place, particularly morning and evening when the sun shines on the world center of cornucopia emotions, thoughts, rumors, love, and hate, aka, NYC. In addition, there are many quiet and well-organized trails that you can enjoy. Whenever I see the Eagle statue and the names of the victims of 911, I feel sad and wish that they have another wonderful life and come back to this scenery sometime soon in their next lives.
  
  This is where you will fall in love with the world.

  Eagle Rock Reservation has wonderful trails marked in different colors and the stunning 9/11 Memorial with spectacular views on NYC. It is a beautiful tribute with the names of those we lost listed on stone as you look at Mahattan. They also have cook out and relaxation areas - a must visit if you are in the area !
