  Staff went above and beyond to accommodate with every request. Mark in particular was extremely organized and provided us with a well arranged and thoughtful service for my Grandfather's passing. Very thankful for all they did.

  Our son recently died unexpectedly and from the moment I talked to Mark Wilsey, he treated us like family. He picked our son up from the hospital as absolutely soon as he could. Mark said, "If he were my son, I wouldn't want him there any longer than necessary." As soon as our family met with him he listened to every word, had great advice, was particular with every detail. He truley went above and beyond with every step. He explained all the steps to our daughter-in-law as how to handle all banking, insurances, social security benefits and more. He emailed information and links so that information was easily accessible. He guided us through the pain with as much ease as possible. Whether you are saying goodbye to a loved one in Phoenicia, Saugerties or surrounding area's, Mark (Gormley)and Jack Wilsey (Seamon-Wilsey, Saugerties) are going to treat you like family. My most heartfelt thanks goes out to them both.

  I can't say enough about the help that Mark Wilsey was in are time of need to plan are father funeral. Mark was a great listener to everything thing we had to say and wrote are father and beloved husbands amazing obituary and making sure he touched on everything we said. Mark is also very detailed oriented and made sure every special request we through at him was taken care of and there where a lot. One very special one was that are dad was known by his initials and Mark made sure to have them engraved on his casket and made sure they made a statement.
  Mark is very respectful to honor are family's need in this time and to make sure to honor are father in the best way possible.
  I just can't say thank you enough for everything Mark did for us.

  Mark handled everything regarding my moms passing with the utmost kindness and compassion. He guided us through it all and made sure she had a beautiful service. We cant thank him enough for all he did to help us through this difficult time. He guided us 3 years ago when my dad passed as well. Amazing both times.

  I have to share that Mark Wilsey, Funeral Director at Gormley Funeral Home, has been phenomenal to work with on two occasions for me and my brothers over the past few years as we've navigated through the end of life and burial process for both of our parents.
  
  I really appreciate his calm demeanor in handling the many difficult tasks we solved together including pickup at hospital, death certificates, cremation, urns and finally burial and conducting a brief service. Billing was clear and as described. I highly recommend Mark and Gormley Funeral Home.
