I have to say thank you, thank you, thank you to Dr Kim! My daughter has seen so many other doctors I was going to give up and I totally forgot that I had a visit with Kim because I made it so long ago. boy, I 'm glad we kept the appointment because he is like the best doctor we've seen so far. A great fit for us because all the medical problems with my daughter. Other psych docs just focus on the psych stuff but Dr Kim seemed to know all about her medical conditions and finally gave us a good explanation why she acts this way. He gives some really great parenting advice and with his new meds it's like I have a totally new kid!
Dr Kim, is an exceptional doctor. He is extremely professional, skilled , attentive, and at the same time, he is a wonderful human being who cares immensely about his patients.
I highly recommend him.
My experience with Dr. Kim deserves extra kudos for his professionalism and spot on diagnosis of my issue. His, subsequent, follow up demonstrated continued empathy, and he tried to reinforce my own efforts to stick to a well thought out plan that we worked on together. Five plus stars are in order for his help!
Great psychiatrist and doctor! Only regret is that I wish I took my daughter to him first and not wasted my time with the 2 other doctors (a neurologist and another psychiatrist) who totally misdiagnosed my child. I never write these reviews usually but I just wanted to share my gratitude... I have my daughter back and I can't thank him enough. The other doctors we saw spent like a total of 15 minutes before wanting to give a diagnosis and medications (the wrong ones btw), but Dr. Kim spent a full hour and a half and got to know my daughter's and family's history (which turned out to be really important here). I don't know if he's taking new patients but if he is it's definitely worth the wait (I had to wait 2 months before I could get in).
