I had not seen a rheumatologist since my doctor left after the retirement of my original doctor a short time previous. This office is doing it's best to see patients but is under extreme pressure due to lack of staff as I was made aware when trying to make an appointment. Even though I was the last patient of the day Dr. Nowak spent all the time I needed to discuss my health conditions and asked to see me in 3 months. She also asked me to pick up some exercise instructions from the receptionist when I left. However the receptionist has closed her office when I left and on calling to make an appointment this morning I had to leave a message! What is going on? Communication with any department connected with the hospital is impossible. Outstanding staff it's a shame they don't get more credit than they deserve. I needed a shot called spoke to Kelly got me in right away. Jill roomed me absolutely caring and professional. As far as the doctors visit exceeded my expectations. Dr. Nowak listened, discussed labs, gave me my injection, and ordered some labs. She made sure what I should know about my injection and to call if I needed anything. A+++ work guys!!! Extremely grateful.
Was recommended by my GP. Polite, thorough, good listener as well as sympathetic information provider. Appreciated that she prescribed conservative treatment first before considering heavier medications. Spent as much time as needed with me, seems very knowledgeable. Parent company closed the group's building/practice in 11/2015. I look forward to her practice returning with another group in the area.
