  I started therapy with Stephanie in the summer of 2020 with the hopes of resolving years worth of issues. I seemed to have hit a point where I was not seeing an end to COVID-19, not being able to handle the stress of also being a mental health clinician while also trying to manage my own problems. Stephanie does a wonderful job of establishing rapport where it feels like you are talking with a great friend. She creates a comfortable and secure environment while also pushing limits to better yourself. Suzanne was able to lift my spirits and confidence by encouraging boundaries and self-care.
  
  With her help, I have also gained the courage to contact my father again after years of not speaking. I genuinely look forward to every session and have not missed one yet. Sometimes we discuss nothing at all and it is like speaking with an old friend and other times she is pushing me beyond my comfort level or calling me out on maladaptive behaviors. My life has genuinely improved in all aspects and I must thank and offer credit to Stephanie for continuing to help me each step of the way.

  I've been seeing Dr. Sam for a few months now, and I can honestly say it has had a profound effect on my life. I have anxiety, so even starting therapy was anxiety inducing for me, but within minutes I felt completely relaxed and at home with him. I am learning to be more open with my loved ones, discovering things about myself I never knew, and I am growing as a person. My husband has commented on the positive changes he is seeing, as have members of my family. I credit that entirely to her skill as a therapist and as a friend. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

  Although I was seeing the same therapist for years, I decided to get a second opinion. My mental health wasn't necessarily improving, and I felt empty and stagnant. After my initial session with Dr. Sam, I was impressed with her kindness, patience, resourcefulness, and wide range of knowledge. She provides great feedback as well as a variety of treatments and solutions. Dr. Sam has made me feel something that I have not felt in a long time: hopeful.
  
  I am incredibly lucky to have met someone like Dr. Sam. She has been my North Star, and I thank her so much for being an incredible guide!

  Stephanie Shapiro conducted therapy sessions for both me and my wife over the course of several months. Stephanie was incredibly knowledgeable, intelligent, insightful, informative, and understanding. In fact, I can’t say enough about how much we loved Stephanie and how talented she is. She is motivated and dedicated to her clients, and it really shows during her sessions. I would highly recommend Stephanie to any individual seeking treatment. I can safely say that Stephanie got my wife and I through a very tough time and essentially saved our marriage. FIVE STARS!

  I have had the opportunity to work with Dr. Sam for almost a year now. As a long-time believer in the benefits of therapy, either for short term guidance at different points in our lives or as a constant resource in our development, I found Dr. Sam capable of engaging at either level. Her approach is thoughtful, highly intuitive, and very knowledgeable. I look forward to my conversations with her and at the end I feel lighter. I know I have been heard and understood. Dr. Sam is wonderful at making concrete suggestions and recommendations to help me through situations. She provides resources to further support our work and to address me as whole person not just “a client”. I believe she works hard at getting to know each individual, to listen attentively to their words and to see them as capable of making a difference in their own lives.
