  I am 52, live on Long Island and have had needed a few surgeries in my life and my experience with Dr Guilian was the best of them all. During my initial appointments that were designed to accurately diagnose me he was extremely detailed & as confident and as convincing than any prior surgeon I ever used in the past, but he was much more personal & likable IMO!
  
  Day of surgery, He spent about 15 minutes in the pre op with me to go over everything, set recovery expectations and shared some small talk and jokes that really relaxed me as I was nervous as could be, he must have picked up on that and gave me extra attention.
  
  Post op, I woke up in recovery and there is a nurse and DR Guilian right next to me. He gives me a full recap of how the surgery went in his opinion and goes over some post op reminders of what I need to do over the next few days and weeks.
  
  I am currently 12 weeks out at this point and feeling amazing. Dr. Guilian totally exceeded my expectations.
  
  I could not be happier I used Dr Guilian to fix my torn bicep! I strongly encourage anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon to consider using him!

  Dr. Guillen is an amazing surgeon with fantastic bedside manner. My husband needed a very complicated hand surgery after an injury and Dr. Guillen is the reason he is able to successfully use his hand and go back to playing sports at the same level as before his injury. Even his occupational therapist is shocked at his amazing results. We would highly recommend Dr. Guillen to anyone looking for a fantastic orthopedist/surgeon. He takes his time to explain everything and truly cares for his patients while being an incredibly talented surgeon. He recently changed locations and is now at Long Island Orthopedic Solutions in Huntington Station.

  I had a great experience with Dr. Guillen. He was very polite, heard my concerns and did not rush through our meeting.
  The staff was amazing as well! The assistant was very kind and friendly. So was the X-ray technician. I barely had to wait in his office. My appointment was at 3pm. I arrived at 2.57pm and was called in at 3.05.
  
  I would highly recommend Dr Guillen and his office for any orthopedic issues.

  I have had two shoulders replaced and will need carpal tunnel surgery soon. I am so thankful Dr. Guillen is my surgeon. Surgical skill, extensive medical training and knowledge, attention to detail, true concern for his patient, compassion, reassurance, clear explanation of diagnosis and procedure, willingness to listen to patient concerns, personable, friendly - these characteristics make Dr. Guillen an extraordinary doctor. Additionally he is 100% involved with each patient. When he says he will call, it is he who calls. He follows through on everything he says he’ll do. In my experience, Dr Guillen will exhaust all conservative measures before he suggests surgery. His office staff is friendly and responds quickly to appointment requests. I’m not sure a brief review can sufficiently identify the reasons I have such confidence and admiration for this gifted orthopedist. I’ve had surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and it fails to compare to the treatment and experience with Dr. Guillen. Highly recommend with no reservations.

  I took my 2 year old grand daughter to see Dr. Guillen for a broken arm. When we walked in she was nervous but Dr. Guillen put her right to ease. He was so kind and gentle with her. He took extra time to make sure she was comfortable and casted her arm himself to be extra cautious. We would definitely recommend Dr. Guillen and will be going back to him for all our orthopedic needs in the future.
