Dr Porrino is a great doctor. He takes his time and listens to his patients. I always feel comfortable taking my children for visits there.
I agree with many other comments, Dr Porrino is wonderful, carefully explains things and takes time with his patients. Stephanie the receptionist is unbelievably rude. I have put up with her ignorance for years now. She speaks over you, undermines you, lack compassion and God forbid you have a question. This has become such an issue , and I love the doctor but the lack of consirn and care from Stephanie is is enough to contemplate switching doctors.
Dr. Porrino is the nicest and has always been very thorough and patient throughout the years my family and I have been attending. I have to agree with the reviews about the receptionist though - every time I have went (years up to this point) she is always rude, ignorant and unwelcoming. One time she rolled her eyes and scoffed at me because she had to fax a page relating to my records. The only reason why I never go to the doctors office is because of her.
I just switched over a few months ago from a doctor I had been with for 15 years and couldn't be happier. Dr. Porrino is caring, helpful and most importantly, knowledgeable. His assistant Christina is great. I highly recommend him to my friends and family. Give him a try. You won't be disappointed.
Dr. Porrino is wonderful. He takes time with his patients, never making them feel as though he's rushing to see next person. The office is clean and has ample parking. I couldn't disagree more with the negative reviews about office staff...Christine at the front desk is especially helpful. I needed to see a specialist urgently, and if not for her quick follow through, I wouldn't have been able to schedule the appointment with the next doctor. Christine faxed office visit notes, and thanks to her diligence, I was able to see the specialist quickly and without any glitches. She always returns my calls quickly. She's consistently friendly and caring.
