  After having been in a state of mental crisis for multiple years with only limited success from other psychologists, Dr. Chok helped me understand myself in ways that I had not thought were possible. Having diagnosed me with a major depressive disorder, social anxiety disorder, OCD, and autism spectrum disorder, he helped breakdown the reasons I thought/functioned the way that I did and guided me to completely reforming the way I saw myself and the world around me, all while being incredibly empathetic and genuine. He did not just assist me, but showed me how to assist myself to the point that I have not only improved but flourished over these past years; he has even inspired me to pursue a career in psychology. To this day, I still meet with him occassionally to discuss navigation of social scenarios/cues for my ASD.

  I've had OCD since I was a child of eight. Covid has further more exacerbated my OCD to unbearable levels.
  Since I had the good fortune to come into contact with Dr. Chok, my life has become hopeful and positive. I have come out of an abyss which I thought had no end.
  He has all the excellent skills of his profession. He is one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever known.
  It is a privilege knowing him.

  Dr.Chok is kind and extremely thoughtful. He’s given me some of the best advice I’ve ever received from a mental health professional.

  Dr. Chok is awesome. I've needed someone for years who really understands OCD and ADHD and their comorbidity. I've only been with him for a few months and I've made more progress than I did with 5 other therapists in the past few years (no gaslighting here as with other therapists!). I was wary about seeing someone more research-based than traditional talk therapy but Dr. Chok has combined the emotional care of a talk therapist with the skill-based planning a neurodivergent person needs. He's definitely an expert, a great skills coach with a realistic understanding of the disorders he treats and is able to put things in perspective so patients can see the bigger picture and understand their brains better. He's quick and responsive when I need to contact him or have questions outside of our treatment hours.
