  Dr. Eunice Aviles is an incredible therapist - she is empathic and thoughtful, yet direct and honest with her patients. She is someone who truly cares and has the knowledge to help people. She has been a tremendous help to me over the last year, since the death of my spouse and mother. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

  I was referred to Dr. Avilés after experiencing a chronic illness followed by the devastating tragic loss of three of my closest family members. I was always skeptical about counseling sessions and anything of it's nature. But, I knew I needed to start somewhere. I was lost, confused, fearful, hopeless, depressed and suffering from lots of anxiety after these life traumas. I gave myself the opportunity to try it and gave her the opportunity to show me that there are ways out and that counseling sessions do work.
  
  The day I met her I just vented everything to her. She was silently and closely paying attention to me. She gave me a chance to explain myself and my feelings. Then, Dr. Avilés started talking to me and offering me methods and ways to have closure and start healing. I saw her for a little over three years. She was there all through the process. She checked in with me as much as possible, I saw her weekly and if I couldn't make it on certain days and times, she was flexible. She was always so kind, attentive and concerned for me.
  
  Even when she was away she would make sure she was available to provide me with an listening ear and words of hope, encouragement, and motivation. She never gave up on me. The counseling sessions I had with her gave me a deeper meaning of life and they were more uplifting then those I received from religious leaders.She became a meaningful person in my process of healing.
  
  Dr. Avilés went above and beyond for me, I must say. She provided me with resources and connected me to people that could help me return to college and study in my field of choice. She is humble, compassionate, empathetic and so dedicated to her clients. She showed me how to hang on when I was ready to give up. She cares so much for her clients. I was able to trust her and that's something I will never doubt.
  
  Today, I no longer see her. She has moved away, but the impact she had on my life was tremendous because now when I reach that point where I want to give up, I just recall all the words I received from her that made me continue on and put to practice the methods I learned from her. I have always called her " my angel sent from God ". Yes! We have angels on earth too.
  
  I would recommend her with great honor to anyone and if one day I have to do this all over again, I would hope it will be with her again. I wish I could rate 100+. Wishing you well, Dr. Avilés.
