Dr. Dental: Dentistry & Braces

I had mixed feelings about seeing a dentist with the name "Dr. Dental" in an office located in a plaza, however, after much time spent calling around, either no one was accepting new clients, or they didn't accept my insurance. This office accepted both.

I have waited to write a review because I like to be rock solid with my statements about my experiences.

I have thus far had a cleaning, and two temporary crowns put in, later replaced by two permanent crowns. The time between the mold being cast during the temporary crown installation during the prepping process was just a few weeks for both crowns. They were FAST.

The dentist has been consistent with his demeanor, and has ensured that I was comfortable at all times (meaning I had the appropriate amount of numbing provided where necessary and where applicable).

The girls that assist the dentist with x-rays and such have all been very nice (especially the pink haired woman, wish I remembered her name, but I'm horrible with names....if you meet her, you'll know whom I'm referring to; she's an absolute doll!)

The practice is kept clean. They book appropriate and keep things moving so you are not left sitting in the waiting room for more than 5 or 10 minutes (I actually don't think I've ever waited beyond 5 minutes).

MY ONLY COMPLAINT:
I'd like to be able to say that all of the girls at the front desk are "nice", however, overhearing negative talk about other clients (and possibly myself) while sitting just a few feet away, in the waiting room (more than once), is inappropriate on far too many levels for my comfort - and the ONLY reason I continue going to this practice vs seeking another dentist is because of the dentist himself; he is great. It is an extremely uncomfortable feeling wondering if anything about myself, as a patient, is being disclosed or discussed with anyone at any time, by the front desk staff. I will reiterate that I continue going to this practice because I really like the dentist. He is nice, hie is gentle, and he has done a great job thus far. He is also the reason I'm giving a review of 5 stars. He and the work he provides to me is what matters to me.

I really enjoyed our visit. Jennifer was very professional and had a very good approach to children. She explained to them what they would do and they were not at all afraid. Even checked the teeth of their dolls. Thank you!

My 11 y/o son had his first tooth removed on 7/21/2023, and it was very traumatic for him. The dentist and dental hygienist who worked with us couldn’t have been more comforting and professional to keep him calm and relaxed as possible.
On top of everything, the dentist was willing to see my son a whole week before his scheduled appointment. I could not show my appreciation enough to them, and also to the wonderful receptionist who helped us check in. You all know who you are, and I will not forget this. Thank you all, to the awesome team at Doctor Dental.
