Wonderful with my son! He is special needs and she sang to him while doing exam. It was though and everyone in office was so sweet and helpful. Was able to get an appointment fast, not like other pediatric ophthalmologist that take months. Definitely recommend this doctor and office for your children. Thank you!!
Dr. Gerontis has helped two of my children with their far-sightedness and astigmatism. One of my children had a brain tumor prior to us joining her practice. She spent more time explaining so many things to me related to his vision in the aftermath of a serious brain cancer. Her staff is wonderful and the receptionists have always been accommodating. She also went above and beyond to make sure my kids frames were perfect, I repeat perfect for their face. I've never seen a doctor so such attention to detail. We love her.
Now I'd like to respond to all the negative comments on here. Do not expect Dr. G to be yours or your child's warm, fuzzy best friend. She's always been friendly and positive with our kids. Sometimes visits are long and they get rowdy and out of hand but guess what? She expects them to behave in her office. Duh!!!! You should too.
If you can't handle the truth she dishes out, go somewhere else. She's there to fix the issues in front of her. Let her do her job. Love you Dr. G!
