I just had two skin related surgeries with surgeon Dr Messina thus week. What a most exhilarating and fulfilling experience she provided . She is not only amongst the few select highly credentialed and most competent physicians with whom I have interacted with several dozens amid my six plus decades of life, but far more importantly, she extended me the genuine empathy and humanity unparalleled out there. To sum it all up, wished she could be cloned to an army of similarly trained physicians at the service of humanity. Thanks DOC!
Recently I had a procedure done by Dr. Messina, I am so pleased to have met her and elected to have her perform my surgery. She made sure that I understood everything about the surgery, and gave me her time to pose questions that allowed me to feel at ease. Her down to earth approach and professionalism made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. Dr. Messina took the time to understand my health care needs so I could get through the procedure comfortably. She was great!

My dad had to have his gallbladder removed, it was done laparoscopically. He was really scared of the procedure and the fact that he might not be able to function properly without the gallbladder. Dr. Messina took her time to explain everything in detail (couple of times), she took her time to make sure my dad understands that everything will be fine.
As Brigette already said; there were no complications, minimal pain, barely a scar and quick recovery time!

My experience as a first time surgical patient with Dr. Messina was great. The procedure was to correct an umbilical hernia that I suffered during labor 13 years earlier and was nervous about having it fixed.
