(June 6, 2023, 4:04 pm)Not someplace exactly to get excited about, but it fulfills a need here in quaint old Andover. Ever since Lunt's Market closed, there's been a dearth of basic foodstock items in town -- you either have to go to Ted's in Hebron, Highland Park in Coventry or Manchester, or Stop & Shop in Willimantic. From where I live in town, none of them are less than about 12 minutes' drive. The General is 3 minutes down the road, and if I run out of something canned, frozen, or a basic dry good like flour or sugar, then that's where I'm headed. The place is clean, organized, well-lit, and stocked with most of these kinds of items. Nothing fancy, just basic kitchen supplies.
