There's a lot of different products (freezer foods, non perishable foods, gift wrapping supplies, pet supplies, baby stuff, etc.) But not much brand or type variety within each section. It's a fine place for some quick, inexpensive grocery shopping.
I wouldn't say there are a bunch of great deals or savings. I think the low prices are just due to smaller portions, and I think you could save more money some place like walmart, but like I said, dollar general is good for quick, inexpensive shopping if you have a small list to get through. -

(November 29, 2020, 1:57 pm)I stopped in to get a dog collar and yes it was there at a reasonable price. This is a new Dollar General and they have a lot of stock . A place that you can get a good variety of merchandise at a decent price

(June 4, 2020, 2:50 pm)We love this new Waterford Works Dollar General perfect spot to get those extra things needed for the house and sundry items... However my visit today I encountered a store associate who allowed a customer to come in without a mask; this photo depicts her just putting her mask on after I asked her to do so. She seemed almost combative with her attitude for me suggesting that. Other associates there are great and friendly keep up the great work this is a perfect location very clean neat orally well-stocked.
