They sell lots of different products such as housewares, greetings cards, dog and cat stuff, some food, health & beauty, some car accessories, etc.... Bottom line is that their prices are always reasonable.

(November 22, 2019, 12:43 am)My local Dollar General has a wide variety of choices at great prices. Their customer service is consistently outstanding. The only heads up is to be careful about buying mechanical devices. They are always cool about refunds!
