I'm only in the Hunter area a few times a year to visit family but have found the need to visit Dollar General on a number of occasions. Have found the store to always have a wide variety of merchandise, well kept, and the staff to be extremely accommodating.

The cashier was very friendly and the prices were cheap for good quality products. My only complaint is that some aisles were extremely messy. Such as the childrens toy aisle and the home decor aisle. They need to make sure the opened products are removed too. But overall, great service.

I stop at this store after skiing to get the kind of snacks I crave after any exercise - potato chips, Gatorade, cookies.
The staff is friendly and good at their jobs.

I also look at the prices of items such as tuna, bread, pasta and cereal and I see that someone struggling to make ends meet could stay fed on about $4.00 a day or even less. This store provides a valuable service to the community.
