How do I even begin to describe how wonderful my experience with Dogwood Healing Center has been? I started acupuncture treatments to alleviate chronic pain, but I've discovered both emotional and physical healing through working with Elizabeth.
I've had chronic pain for three years due to a herniated disc in my L5/S1 area. When I first met Elizabeth, I could barely stand still because of how much pain I was in; I cried every day and was severely depressed because of my condition, which seemed hopeless at the time. After listening to me, explaining how acupuncture works, and developing a treatment plan with me, Elizabeth made the pain recede to almost nothing in certain areas and scaled it back to manageable levels in others. While I need surgery to ultimately fix the herniated disc, acupuncture has given me a better quality of life than I've experienced the past few years.
Additionally, Elizabeth's skill with moving energy and specialized healing techniques, such as the External Dragon Treatment, has been life-changing for me. I'm totally serious. I was very skeptical of holistic medicine when I first went to Dogwood, but I've come to live a better, healthier, happier life through the guidance and treatments that Elizabeth and I have decided upon together. The changes in my mind, in my health, and in my soul are mind-blowing, and I'm forever grateful to Elizabeth for helping me find the path back to myself.
If you're contemplating acupuncture for the first time, I highly recommend Dogwood Healing Center and Elizabeth. Please go and give your best self a chance at healing and recovery.
