When we first bought a house in Westchester Diff'rnt Strokes was one amongst a very few pool stores in our "area." Since then, many more pool stores have come and gone but Diff'rnt Strokes remains. And even though some were closer to our area, we always ended up going the extra distance to DS. Why? Because they are the best in our area! Tony and his folks are professional yet convivial and always have the right solutions for our needs. They are also pool-centric. No spas, no hot tubs, no confusing products. Just straight forward, good advice for pool owners. Two liners and numerous pool covers later we still go the extra distance because they do too. Highly recommended.
Experience and knowledge goes a long way. The guys here at Different Strokes probably have more years of experience than most other pool companies in the area. My pool was installed 6 plus years ago, and it works perfectly. With their recommendation of simple maintenance, my pool water is the envy of the neighborhood. Every spring when I remove the cover, it's a great feeling to see the water just the way it was in the fall. I always buy my chemicals here and most importantly, listen to what they recommend. Why go anywhere else?
