  I read a couple of 1 Star reviews, but don't believe the people who wrote them are real. I think Google needs to do a better job making sure the people reviewing are for real. I have been eating at the Diet Gourmet since 1990 and it has always been the top lunch spot in the deal area. Professional culinary train chef is hard to find in a lunch place at the shore. The food is outstanding, excellent service and the entire place has been modernized from the dinning room to the kitchen and bathroom. if you haven't been there since their remodel in the past 30 days you need to go enjoy the finest luncheon place at the shore. They revised their menu and have some great new items to go along with their many old favorites. I only gave it 5 stars because 6 stars was not an option. I HAD A POOL PARTY SUNDAY 6/11/203 I PURCHASE 2 QUARTS OF MAC SALAD, 2QUARTS OF SKINNNY SLAW, 2 QUARTS OF TUNA AND 2 QUARTS OF SPINACH. YOU CAN'T GET BETTER QUALITY OF THOSE ITEMS ANYWHERE. THE DIET GOURMET MADE MY POOL PARTY A DELIGHTFULL SUCCESS!!!!!!!!

  The Diet Gourmet is by far the best Kosher place to go and enjoy an amazing lunch! The staff is amazing and so friendly and attentive towards all of their customers, knowing most on a first name basis. If your in the Long Branch area i highly recommend checking this place out, you won’t regret it!!

  Diet Gourmet is an institution that has been around for over 50 years. The food is just as good today as it was 50 years ago. Great service, Big selection and Always fresh - you're never going to get a salad with rust on it.

  I love Diet Gourmet! The inside is beautifully remodeled with decor that highlights the beauty of the Jersey Shore. Great menu with DG favorites like their beloved mac salad, Impossible Burger, and Milky Way Sundae. It is an overall excellent experience that shouldn't be missed when spending time at the Jersey Shore. I look forward to going back.

  Literally the BEST kosher food I have had in quite some time. Restaurant ambiance and staff were amazing! I will be eating here whenever I’m in the area! I wish I could give more than 5 Stars!
