Diagnostic Imaging of Southbury

  I arrived and got a text message to check in from my car before entering. That took about 10 minutes to do, and then I finally entered the building. The receptionists were talking to each other so I just signed the clipboard that I was here and didn’t know anything else I needed to do being that it was my first time at this location.
  After sitting around for over 10 minutes, somebody finally called my name and told me that I needed to tell the receptionist that I was here and that they didn’t know. Within minutes, I was called in for my mammography. The woman was very nice and very thorough. It was only uncomfortable for a matter of seconds.
  All the people are very very nice. Nobody was in the waiting area when I left, but for some reason there were five people there when I arrived. A little more instruction on what to do when you arrive would be helpful. The location is getting remodeled so it was in disarray a little bit, but the seats were still comfortable and there were plenty of seats if you wanted to sit apart from other people.

  To start, this was my first time at this facility. Upon entering I reach the front desk where I was greeted by a very pleasant woman. I completed my paperless registration and waited in the waiting room for only 5 minutes before my name was called by another cheerful woman to go in for my MRI. My only complaint about the waiting room is that it does seem outdated but being in there for only 5 minutes I really cannot complain about that.
  
  Once I arrived to my destination I was asked all the questions that I assume are mandatory to ask before my procedure and was told what I could and could not have on me when going into this room. Now this is not my first time having an MRI but like the first line of my review states it was my first time at this office. The MRI machine looked to be newer than the last one I had been to and possibly (although not entirely sure) a little bigger?
  
  Being that this was my lower back I was told where to lay and how to put my arms. The instructions were clear and again the person conducting my MRI was cheerful. I could almost feel a smile as they were talking to me while in the other room over the speaker/headset. They (I believe there was a second tech in the room while this was going on) asked me the kind of music I wished to listen to and we began the fun.
  
  The MRI did not take as long as I had remembered in the past it taking and before I knew it I was getting changed back into the clothes I came with.
  
  Between my initial greeting from the front desk until the second I was finished with my MRI this experience was very easy. The staff at this facility all seems pleasant and knowledgeable. I even asked if there was a manager available to talk to but they said the manager had left for the day and that I could call in the morning and ask to speak to them if I would like to. I did not need to do that. I figured leaving this review would get the information passed along to those in charge as well as well as let others, like myself, feel better about trying a new place.
  
  Overall this was a great experience at a place I wouldn't hesitate to tell others to try and use if possible. I know I only got an MRI but if all the techs are as nice and knowledgeable as the one I had I'm sure they are great at all X-Ray related things they do!!
  
  Kudos to the facility and team for making this experience something I did not regret.
