  I was extremely happy with my visit... Office staff and doctor were both amazing! Dr. Schnitzel provided a thorough examination and explained every step of the way what he was doing. Very patiently answered all my questions about my vision changes and cataracts and eased my mind about the sudden vision problems I have been experiencing and stressing about. Highly recommended if you are looking for an eye doctor!

  One of the best doctors I have ever been to! Great service and a kind and knowledgeable doctor with great people skills! He changed my life with providing me access and options to better sight and I cannot thank him enough! Highly recommend this practice!

  Design For Vision is an excellent example of an extremely well designed store and an exceptional vision medical care clinic! The staff was tremendous and extremely talented, knowledgeable and experienced. Peggy greeted me as soon as I arrived and took the little bit of information I needed to update them on and had me back with Dr. Schnitzel in less than 5 minutes. Dr. Schnitzel has worked with me once before in refitting me with contact lenses. I have an astigmatism along with my near-sightedness and he really was able to fit me with a great pair of lenses. On this visit he made absolutely sure my vision was at is very best as before and while I needed my spare glasses prescription changed on my first visit, we decided there was no need to change or update them. I asked if someone could adjust them tighter and Dr. Schnitzel said no problem and Charity made the perfect adjustment. Additionally, I had a pair of Oakley sunglasses which needed some new nose pads and I asked if it was possible to get a pair. Charity said she would have to check if they had any for the model I had (an older model) and sure enough she was back out with a new pair of nose pads. I asked how much I owed for the adjustment and the pads and she said nothing! That was a very nice thing for her to do! Dr. Schnitzel checked on me before I left and I said I appreciated everything that was done for me. Lastly, Peggy asked if I would like my contacts mailed free of charge to my house and I said yes and thanked her again. I highly recommend Design For Vision in Jamison, PA for your vision needs and for a fantastic selection of frames for new glasses and they have an excellent assortment of sunglasses by those brands you come to know and others less expensive. All in all they are team at this vision clinic and contact/glasses/sunglasses store!

  Dr. Schnitzel is the BEST! He has been our family’s Optometrist for 23 years. Excellent eye care from a caring, helpful, doctor who listens to you. We moved to this area in 2000, and our then-10-year-old son wanted to get contact lenses. I was nervous because of his young age, but Dr. Schnitzel spent the time with him to make sure he learned how to use them/properly care for his eyes and to make sure that all was well. My son is now 33 years old and has moved away, but my husband and I are still patients of Dr. Schnitzel. I can’t say enough good things about him or his staff — who are also excellent—professional and very helpful and kind.

  I've been a patient od Dr. Schnitzel's for many years and can say he is thorough and informative. He takes the time to explain your eye health. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Whether it's insurance issues or picking out frames. I highly recommend the practice.
