Daigle & Travers Insurance - Darien CT

I was in my first major accident back in November. My family has used Daigle and Travers for years, so the first thing I did was give them a call. I was very anxious but the claims specialist Barbara helped me through the entire process of filing a claim in calm, friendly manner. She stayed on the phone with me for long periods of time to explain every last detail of the filing process until I understood it clearly. I cannot stress what a relief this was to me after a tense event. With my car now almost out of the shop I feel more confident than ever that I am safe on the road thanks to Daigle. I can't imagine how stressful it would've be without their help. Highly recommended!

After being hit broadside by a Westchester County bus, I called my agent at Daigle and Travers to report the car accident and find out what the next steps were. I spoke to Barbara Chadwick, the claims agent, who took matters in her own hands. The same day, my insurance company was notified, they contacted me the following day and my car will now be accepted at my preferred body shop and a rental car will be provided. Turning a bad event into a painless resolution was done quickly and efficiently.

I have been a client of Daigle and Travers for over 20 years. During this time I have received knowledgeable, trustworthy and dependable service from all concerned. However I must single out one agent who has gone beyond the call of duty, Barbara Chadwick. In a nutshell, I had a large damaged property loss. The (possibly newly hired) claims adjuster from one of the country's biggest insurance agencies not only denied my claim but also sent me a bill ($3460.00) for the assessment work used to deny my claim. Needless to say, Barbara went to work for me and got my case reviewed by the highest level of this company, a task that took months. The adjuster's decisions were ultimately reversed and my claim was paid in full. You can't ask for anything more than an agent who has your back. Thanks again, Barbara, I'm so grateful.
