(August 28, 2023, 11:00 am)Bright, clean, and welcoming. The food is good, and coffee is fresh and hot. There are plenty of choices for a quick and healthy snack. I stop by often for a yogurt and cup of coffee.

I live just a town or two over and ended up coming here because it was the only place open that could possibly have what I needed. The funny thing is I was looking for some little gift type thing to get for my two kids for Valentine's Day. And while I suppose they don't exactly need a gift for Valentine's Day from mom, I thought I would be nice just to get them a little beanie baby type plushie or something other than candy before they get too old and it's just creepy. I don't think I've ever bought a gas station plushie in my life but I feel like I see them at every gas station I've been to... Except this one. I ended up grabbing some lollipops and garbage candy and it's probably a good idea that I didn't find a plushie anyway because it would just end up on their floor or something. I do have to say that the experience was quite pleasant even at 10:30 at night. The cashier was a young girl who greeted me as I walked in and the store was clean. I think she might have been on the phone when I walked in but she was speaking so softly to whomever was on the other end as if to be respectful to people around her (i.e. - me). As soon as I was within 10 ft or so of the register she paid 110% attention to me... unlike other gas stations I've been to who continue their typically inappropriate conversation loudly with no censorship of subject matter and profanity. I have to say that is a seemingly small request (to have at least 95% of the workers attention) but surprisingly lacking in many other areas of commerce. I was quite impressed... It's the little things 🙂...I will keep this location in mind for future last minute runs.
