I would highly recommend Kay for anyone seeking nutritional support. I sought Kay's expertise for nutritional support tailored to my diagnosis of osteoporosis and I found her to be very knowledgable and resourceful in helping me identify and correct dietary deficiencies. Based upon my three month partnership with her I have learned how to tailor my diet/meals in a sustainable way and continue to benefit from her support.

After being diagnosed with osteoporosis, I decided to enlist the help of a nutritionist who would understand the myriad needs of a self-described longtime meal skipper. Kay Balkunas definitely fit the bill and then some. I am now eating 3 healthy, protein-packed meals per day, focusing on the nutritional content of foods (including fermented foods), taking supplements, and feeling the best I have ever felt in my life. And she made it fun to start seeing the great meal options that are right in front of me. Nutrition is a new world for me and honestly, with Kay's guidance and consistent communication, I feel stronger and I wish I had worked with her sooner. Highly recommend. She is a true professional and will also work with you via the web if you can't make an in-person appointment. That has worked out very well for me.
