  My family has been coming to “The Catskills” for over 60 years with their friends and families. We LOVE the Hasenkopf family and their resort…and of course The Brauhaus! The food is always delicious whether at the main house or across the street. While the accommodations at the hotel are a bit dated, they have a vintage charm and are clean and comfy. If you’re looking for a place that has an authentic German vibe, look no further! It’s a destination that we look forward to EVERY year. The memories we’ve made here mean so much to our families…especially now that we are getting older. The nostalgia and watching our children love it as much as we do is priceless! Ein Prosit…der Gemütlichkeit!

  My Mom and I stayed this past weekend at the Crystal Brook Resort Mountain Brauhaus and had an overall amazing time.
  
  The hotel, restaurant and accommodations are situated in a breathtaking and picturesque location within the scenic Catskill Mountains, so the views are second to none.
  
  The entire resort is family owned and operated, and they made the experience even better! From the owner, to the restaurant waitstaff and even the breakfast waitresses the service was stellar.
  
  The room was rustic, and the beds were very comfortable.
  
  The main dining hall and brew house had music both nights (Friday and Saturday) and the atmosphere was fun and the food was superb.
  
  Overall I would say our stay was a 10/10 and we definitely plan on coming back in the near future!

  The thing I like most is the low-key, family atmosphere: the owners are there all the time dispensing suggestions and just having a chitchat. The breakfast was very well presented and abundant. There is a trail next to the property, if you are not soaking in the pool. Wifi not the best but if you are in Catskill for vacation what does it matter? I didn’t find any insects in my room, it was clean and quiet.

  Great, family oriented establishment! Simple accommodations, but clean and everything you would want or need. It's very reminiscent of visiting the German or Austrian countryside, which is exactly what we were seeking. Owners are very nice and have a beautiful, traditional hofbrauhaus on the property as well, with dancefloor and live entertainment. Highly recommend visiting the hofbrauhaus. Excellent traditional German food along with more American cuisine. There is a reason we return every year (from NJ, NH, MD, VA, NC, and FL) for a family reunion.

  The atmosphere could not be better! We dined on the porch and saw a deer feeding in the field across the road.
  The servers were great too...friendly, helpful and very efficient. We were seated quickly, and the service was great, even though I was with a party of eight.
  Good, hearty, comfort food with generous plates and delicious cake for dessert.
